Veteran of critical infrastructure leader takes on role tied closely to company’s next-gen strategy
—As Black & Veatch reconfigures its business structure to meet increasing client demands, the global critical infrastructure solutions leader has promoted Jennifer Divito to president of its BV Operations, the execution hub for the company’s broad spectrum of projects.
With nearly 20 years of Black & Veatch experience, Divito has managed large, complex projects across the portfolio of the company’s innovations and solutions, most recently serving as senior vice president of distributed infrastructure solutions. She previously held a variety of roles, including distributed infrastructure solutions leader, connectivity segment leader and vice president of program management, having also worked in project controls.
Divito’s responsibilities in the role include enhancing the effectiveness of BV Operations’ initiatives, managing project and execution complications, helping manage product gross margin (PGM) erosion to improve project outcomes, and leading BV Operations in alignment with the company’s “NextGen” strategy.

Created in 2021, BV Operations — with more than 10,000 professionals — is responsible for project execution as well as maintaining, developing and deploying global resources in support of the work the company performs around the world.
