Industry publication lauds Hardin’s ability to align technology with company strategies
A Black & Veatch technology executive developing the use of building information modeling (BIM) to speed work and deliver quality control at construction sites has been named one of the “Top 20 Under 40” engineering and construction professionals in the Midwest by Engineering News-Record.
Global Chief Technology Officer Brad Hardin is based in Overland Park, Kansas. He is responsible for integrating hardware and software with company services. Among his efforts is a BIM initiative that uses 3-D laser scanning for prefabrication work at construction sites. Using 3D to accurately model new and existing structures can save clients time and avoid cost overruns.
“Brad is an innovator who is devoted to making new technology work for our professionals so that we can better serve our clients,” said Dan Kieny, the company’s Chief Information Officer. “We’re thrilled he’s on our team as technology plays a larger role in our global growth plans.”
