John Chevrette to lead Black & Veatch's Management Consulting Division

Black & Veatch has appointed John Chevrette as President of its Management Consulting Division. He will lead the company’s efforts to address key challenges affecting today’s water, electric and gas utilities.

Chevrette brings more than 20 years of industry consulting experience to this key position. He most recently served as a senior partner for a global professional services firm.

“Aging infrastructure, an aging workforce, as well as economic and regulatory constraints, are key issues utilities must address,” said Chevrette. “Black & Veatch is a unique company. It blends industry leading business management consultants with world-class engineering, construction and technical capabilities. This creates real value for our utility clients.”

The company’s management consulting division has grown to more than 400 experts in the natural gas, electric and water industries. In addition to advising clients, Black & Veatch publishes annual Strategic Directions reports that support long-term decision making and planning for the electric, natural gas and water industries. These reports are the result of extensive interviews with industry executives and analysis by Black & Veatch experts.

“John joins us during a period of tremendous opportunity for our energy and water clients,” said Len C. Rodman, Chairman, President and CEO of Black & Veatch. “Our Management Consulting Division has unmatched knowledge of the issues and market conditions affecting our clients and is poised for strong growth. John is a proven industry leader with a track record for developing successful solution sets for clients. We are excited about the opportunities ahead for our clients and professionals.”
