Forbes Business Council Is an Invitation-Only Community for Successful Business Owners and Leaders
Mike Orth, President of Governments & Environment for Black & Veatch, is now a member of the Forbes Business Council, an invitation-only community for world-class business executives.
Orth is a 33-year veteran of Black & Veatch and a member of the company’s Board of Directors. As president of Governments & Environment, Orth has helped lead Black & Veatch’s successful transformation this year with oversight of the company’s government and water utility businesses, including offerings in environmental, civil works, integrated water solutions, and mission-critical and cyber security.
“We are honored to welcome Mike Orth into the community,” said Scott Gerber, founder of Forbes Councils, the collective that includes the Forbes Business Council. “Our mission with Forbes Councils is to bring together proven leaders from every industry, creating a curated, social capital-driven network that helps every member grow professionally and make an even greater impact on the business world.”
As an accepted member of the Council, Orth has access to a variety of exclusive opportunities designed to help him reach peak professional influence. He will connect and collaborate with other respected local leaders in a private forum. Orth will also be invited to work with a professional editorial team to share his expert insights in original business articles on Forbes.com and to contribute to published Q&A panels alongside other experts.
Finally, Orth will benefit from exclusive access to vetted business service partners, membership-branded marketing collateral, and the high-touch support of the Forbes Councils' member concierge team.
“The Forbes Business Council gives Black & Veatch an opportunity to collaborate with other innovative business leaders and move the needle on key infrastructure issues facing Black & Veatch clients,” Orth said. “I’m looking forward to helping governments and local utility leaders solve their most pressing challenges in energy, water, communications, and the Federal Governments domestic and foreign interests.”
