Client
United States

A national logistics company awarded Black & Veatch a contract for 50 US sites, featuring hundreds of chargers, to support their fleet of electric delivery vans. The company plans, implements, and controls the movement and storage of goods and services across the globe for consumption. They are working to achieve their sustainability and zero-emission goals by 2030 and 2040.

With transportation being a crucial element to the client’s business operations, evolving their transportation network to fleet electrification is vital to reaching their goals. The scope includes site assessments, arc flash studies, cell strength reception evaluation, engineering, permitting, and utility planning/coordination services. The project schedule and flexibility in the engineering design are key to adapting to the multiple distinctive requirements of utilities throughout the United States. The vast project is the first-in-class in North America.
